What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a trance-like, half-awake/half-asleep state in which you are in a deep state of relaxation. You probably find yourself in this natural state when you are engrossed in a movie or book: focused attention. In this state, you are able to embrace suggestions of the hypnotist that will you change your unhelpful behavior or reduce and relieve health issues. Complementary medical hypnosis is one of several methods, such as massage and meditation, that helps you maintain and increase health, and reduce pain and manage stress.

What hypnosis is NOT:
Hypnosis is not a cure or treatment of disease. Hypnosis is not mind control (you are always in control) or truth serum (if the hypnotists ask you a question, you won't answer it unless you want to). Complementary Medical Hypnosis is not a stage show. (although, the hypnosis in those shows is real) A hypnotist does not swing a watch at you.

Maintain and increase health, as well as reduce disease and stress. The process has been tested and evaluated in medical literature. Scientific evidence suggests that hypnosis can yield a wealth of health benefits.

Several sessions with a hypnotist will put you on the road to better eating and exercise habits, and change other bad health habits. This will help you maintain and increase health while reduce disease and stress.
